COVINA — The Claremont football team had enough problems with Charter Oak senior linebacker J.D. Sanchez, the last thing the Wolfpack needed to see was Sanchez pounding them on offense too.

But that’s exactly what Sanchez did, scoring three touchdowns and leading a defense that forced the previously undefeated Wolfpack into six straight punts to start the game.

While Sanchez did the dirty work on short touchdown runs, running back Torry Huff shouldered most of the load, rushing for 121 yards and a touchdown.

It was so one-sided that Claremont agreed to a running clock in the second half as Charter Oak cruised to a 42-0 victory after leading 28-0 at half.
