Guilford is picking up speed on the football field and, after its 35-12 win over Freeport in Week 7, the Vikings are still in the hunt for their first NIC-10 football title since 1982.

"This was a fun win, and we just keep coming out here to out-physical teams," Guilford halfback Chris Porter said after his two-touchdown night. He now has 14 rushing TDs on the year. "We're just going after it every week out there."
