A Union Street convenience store is set to face a review of it's licence to sell alcohol.

PlymouthLive understands police have sought the review upon the Costcutter store on Union Street , which is situated a few doors down from the Octagon roundabout.

The store, which is branded "Union Street Food and Wine" on its signage, is - according to the Costcutter website - open from 7am to midnight five days a week, and from 8am to midnight on Saturdays and 9am to midnight on Sunday.

According to Plymouth city Council's licensing page the review of the licence was sought "in relation to the Prevention of Crime and Disorder due to breaches of premises licence conditions".

The documentation on the council's site states the store is currently open 8am to 2am each day of the week and be allowed
