PHOENIX, AZ. (WFIE) - Jackie Young is no stranger to winning -- and not just winning, but raising trophies. Friday night was a fantastic night, for the Princeton native, as she helped the Las Vegas Aces, win their third WNBA championship, in four years!
The Aces won, 97-86, over the Phoenix Mercury, in game four of the best-of-seven series, to complete the series sweep. Young had yet another strong game, with 18 points, 8 assists, 7 rebounds, and one steal.
She was exceptional in their playoff run, averaging 20 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds, in their 10 playoff games.
This championship adds yet another title trophy, to Young’s already amazing basketball resume. She now has won three WNBA titles, two Olympic gold medals with Team USA, one NCAA championship at Notre Dame, and her IHSA
