A bye week couldn't have come at a better time for Bill Belichick and North Carolina, as the Tar Heels need a break to refocus after an ugly performance.

North Carolina is coming off a blowout loss to Clemson, marking its second consecutive defeat by at least 25 points. After his team's ACC opener, Belichick maintained that the Tar Heels need to "keep doing [the things] we're doing, but do them better."

We'll see how the continued QB competition plays out for UNC on the other side of the bye. Veteran Max Johnson drew his first start of the season against Clemson with Gio Lopez sidelined because of an injury.
