Jaipur, Oct 11: Rajasthan Intelligence on Friday arrested Mangat Singh, a 32-year-old resident of Govindgarh, Alwar, for allegedly spying on behalf of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). The arrest was made under the Official Secrets Act, 1923, following a detailed investigation by the CID Intelligence Unit.

Authorities said Singh’s suspicious activities were first flagged during surveillance of Alwar’s cantonment area, prompting close monitoring. The investigation reportedly revealed that Singh had been in regular contact with ISI handlers, providing sensitive information in exchange for financial incentives. He was allegedly honey-trapped by a female handler operating under the pseudonym Isha Sharma, who lured him into espionage activities.
