The cast of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" - submitted

SALISBURY — Get ready to laugh until you can’t spell “H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S!” Piedmont Players Theatre is kicking off its new season with the musical “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” directed by Jessie Dietzel. The show opens Oct. 17, at the Meroney Theater and runs through Nov. 2.

Performances will be held on Oct. 17, 18, 24, 25, 31, and Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m., with matinee performances on Oct. 19, 26 and Nov. 2 at 2:30 p.m.
