COSTA MESA — St. John Bosco systematically moved the ball up and down the field in its Trinity League game against Orange Lutheran on Friday at Orange Coast College.
On defense, the Braves kept the Lancers from moving the ball much at all.
And like nearly every opponent St. John Bosco has faced this season, the Lancers appeared almost powerless against the Braves, who are ranked No.1 in the nation in multiple polls.
The Braves scored touchdowns on all four of their first-half possessions and went on to a 48-0 victory over the Lancers.
After rolling to a 70-21 victory over JSerra in their first Trinity League game Oct. 3, the Braves (7-0, 2-0) have outscored their two league opponents by a combined score of 118-21.
