The Manchester Half Marathon is set to return this weekend, making way for 26,000 of runners and thousands more supporters to take to the city's streets.
As the largest half-marathon in the North West, the Manchester Half Marathon involves a 13.1-mile challenge taking place on Sunday, October 12.
The event is expected to raise £1.5 million for charities, with thousands running in support of Alzheimer’s Society, Cancer Research UK and The Christie.
The Half Marathon starts and ends near Manchester United’s Old Trafford football stadium and takes in large parts of the borough, as well as other Greater Manchester locations.
