Week 8 of the high school football season in Sarasota and Manatee counties featured district-swinging wins, and there were several players who made that possible.

There were players with multi-touchdown nights, running backs with over 200 yards, receivers with game-changing plays, quarterbacks who couldn't be stopped and defensive players who swung momentum.
