BEREA, Ohio — It’s almost that time of year for Myles Garrett to fill up his yard with the tombstones of all of the NFL quarterbacks he’s sacked, and he’d love to bury a fellow future Hall of Famer.
It’s none other than the great Aaron Rodgers, whom Garrett will try to sack in Pittsburgh on Sunday, where Rodgers has the Steelers at 3-1. In his first stint in the AFC North, he’s 10th in the NFL with a 102.6 rating, with eight TDs and only 3 INTs.
Iron sharpens iron, and iron also likes to plant quarterbacks into the turf.
“He’s a great one,” Garrett said Friday. “He’ll probably get propped up a little bit higher than some of the others. But yeah. I’d be honored to put him in the graveyard, and definitely a lot of respect for what he’s done in his career, because he’s special.”
