New court documents are shedding light on the final days of Logan Musil, an 18-year-old freshman at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, whose body was found Wednesday near Veterans Lake in Sulphur.

Another student, Cameron Lewis, has been arrested and charged in connection with the case. He is currently facing one count of abusing a corpse while investigators continue to treat the case as a homicide.

Logan’s mother, Erin Musil, says her son had big dreams of owning a security company and was studying business. “He was really kind-hearted, cared about his family and friends,” she said. “I don’t think he realized how much they cared for him too.”
