Members of public helped save man's life after he was stabbed seven times
Members of the public "almost certainly" saved a man's life after a stabbing on Gloucester Road almost two years ago, police have said. The attack, which happened on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, left the victim, a man from Fishponds, now 24, with life-changing injuries.
The victim had gone for a meal with friends at a restaurant in Gloucester Road, Bishopston, before the attack happened. On Thursday, October 9, three men were found guilty of attempted murder, following a trial at Bristol Crown Court.
