PETOSKEY — Crews will be putting the final touches on the latest section of the Howard Street reconstruction project this month, and then taking a long break over the winter.
City manager Shane Horn provided a project update to the Petoskey City Council during their meeting on Thursday, Oct. 9.
“Right now, our contractor is working at Washington Street between Petoskey to Howard Street,” Horn said. “All water main have been installed in this section of that project and tested. Water services will be connected by the end of this week. Sanitary sewer has been completed in this stretch.”
In the next week, Horn said underground electric work will be completed, and concrete, curb and sidewalk work will start at the end of the week.
"Paving is scheduled the late part of the week of Oct. 20,”
