Nash Rawiller believes Lindermann will be worth a shot at the Cox Plate after taking him to an easy, front-running win in the $2 million Hill Stakes (1900m) on Saturday at Rosehill.
Rawiller grabbed his third victory from the past five editions of the race, taking the Chris Waller-trained six-year-old, the $2.25 favourite, to the front from the outside gate and controlling the race. Beaten a nose by Fangirl last start in the 7 Stakes, Lindermann gave nothing a chance, kicking clear for a two and a quarter-length success from defending champion Attrition.
