On Friday, during a practice session at Shivaji Park in Mumbai , he showed his protective nature when a young fan tried to approach him.

A video that quickly went viral shows Sharma shouting at security personnel who were trying to stop the child from getting close to him. As he packed up his kit, Sharma instructed the staff to ensure the boy should be allowed to meet him.
