During his visit to India on Friday, Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi sent a sharp message to Pakistan, urging it to take action against terror groups as Afghanistan has done to promote peace. Referring to groups such as Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad, Muttaqi claimed that the Taliban has eliminated all terrorist operations from Afghan soil over the past four years and advised Pakistan to follow a similar path toward peace.
“Not a single one of them is in Afghanistan. Not an inch of land is controlled by them in Afghanistan. The Afghanistan against whom we carried out an operation (in 2021) has transformed,” Muttaqi said this to a question on Pakistani terror groups earlier using Afghan soil to operate.
