New Delhi railway station latest news: Ahead of Diwali, Indian Railways (IR) has completed the construction of a permanent holding area at New Delhi railway station . This permanent holding area has been built towards Ajmeri Gate of New Delhi Railway Station premises to ensure smooth management of passengers during festivals, when the crowd of passengers increases. The center is designed to accommodate approximately 7,000 passengers at any given time.
