Nineties pop star Kavana has revealed he once drank aftershave during the peak of his drink and drug addiction. The 47 year old, who has openly documented his struggles in a revealing autobiography, shot to fame with his Top 10 hit 'I Can Make You Feel Good' in 1997.
Known off-stage as Anthony Kavanagh, he was just 20 when he stormed the charts, followed by hits like 'MFEO (Made For Each Other)' and 'Crazy Chance'. He later appeared in E4's Hollyoaks: In The City in 2006 and came runner-up on reality TV show Grease Is the Word in 2007.
In 2014, he auditioned for ITV's talent show The Voice but failed to progress past the audition stage, with no judges turning their chairs for him. He also finished seventh in the 2015 series of Celebrity Big Brother.
