Raipur, Oct 11: In a major breakthrough under the ongoing anti-Naxal campaign in Chhattisgarh, security forces arrested six Maoist operatives and defused a pressure improvised explosive device (IED) during a joint operation in South Bastar's Dantewada district.

The operation took place near Manganar Road on Friday and was carried out by a combined team from Barsur Police Station, the District Reserve Guard (DRG), and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), acting on intelligence about Maoist activity in the area.
