After leaving Thursday’s home-opener with a lower-body injury, Hampus Lindholm won’t be in the Bruins ' lineup when they host the Sabres on Saturday night.
Lindholm didn’t participate in the team’s morning skate on Saturday and Marco Sturm confirmed he’d miss the game. But he expects him back on the ice in some capacity on Sunday. He’s day-to-day and has not been ruled out beyond Saturday’s game.
Jordan Harris, the Haverill and Northeastern product who the Bruins signed during the offseason, will make his debut against the Sabres.
It wasn’t clear what caused the injury. Lindholm played six shifts and was last on the ice with just over 8 minutes left in the first period.
After the game, Sturm characterized the injury as minor.
