BURLINGTON, N.C. (WNCN) -- Police are investigating a large fight that happened at the end of a football game between teams from Person County and Burlington, according to officials.

The Burlington Police Department said "a large altercation" broke out on the field at the end of the Friday night game between Person High School from Roxboro and Cummings High School.

A statement from Person County Schools indicated that coaches and players were involved in the incident.

The Burlington Police Department said officials are seeking video of the incident, according to a news release from police around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
