DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) -- Seven men are behind bars in Dale County after an undercover sex sting operation that lasted two days.

Sheriff Mason Bynum tells WDHN that investigators posted various fake ads on the internet offering sexual acts with minors in exchange for money.

The alleged suspects engaged in online conversations with investigators, whom they believed to be minors, the sheriff said.

According to Sheriff Bynum, over the course of two nights, seven men traveled to an undisclosed location in Dale County, where they expected to meet a minor for sex, but were instead met by investigators with the DCSO.
