CANYON, Texas (KFDA) - The West Texas A&M volleyball team defeated the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds in a big rivalry game at The Box on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Buffs picked up the conference win over ENMU quickly (25-12, 25-14, 25-11).

WT as a team recorded 35 kills, 35 digs, 31 assists, and 11 blocks in the win.

Kaycee Cavanaugh led all players in kills (12), Taytum Stow led all player in blocks (8), Hannah Pemberton led all players in digs (10), and Bromli Watson led all players in assists (25).

The Lady Buffs move to 5-1 in conference play and 13-4 overall.

Sophia Valdez was the star of the show for ENMU, recording seven kills, a dig, and a block. Overall, the team had 25 kills, 23 assists, 22 digs, and five blocks.

The Greyhounds are now 1-5 in conference play and 3-13 over
