CHANDLER, AZ (AZFamily) — A 19-year-old man is dead, and two others are in custody after a shooting in Chandler on Friday.
Just after 9 p.m., police responded to the area of McQueen and Warner roads for reports of a shooting.
Witnesses told officers that two people were fighting and someone was shot. When police got to the scene, they found 19-year-old Daniel Sublasky with serious injuries. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Detectives responded to the scene and, upon further investigation, arrested two 19-year-old suspects: Mateo Bynum and Tanutamani Richards. Both were booked on a second-degree murder charge.
The investigation is still ongoing. It is unclear if the victim knew the suspects.
