CALGARY - Jake Neighbours scored twice for the St. Louis Blues in a 4-2 win over the Calgary Flames on Saturday.

Robert Thomas had a goal and an assist and Pius Suter also scored for the Blues (1-1-0), who went with Joel Hofer over Jordan Binnington in net after the latter allowed five goals on 21 shots in their season-opener. Hofer made 27 saves in the win.

Neighbours produced the game-winner at 11:07 of the third period when he tipped in a Colton Parayko slapshot.

Matt Coronato scored twice for Calgary (1-2-0) whose streak of three straight wins in home-openers came to an end. Flames goalie Dustin Wolf stopped 24 of 28 shots in his third start in four nights.

Suter tipped a fluttering Tyler Tucker shot past Wolf at 13:33 of the third to give the Blues a two-goal lead.
