FARGO — One of the new Fargodome videoboard features before North Dakota State games this season is a player drawing the logos of the two teams, in this case of the Bison vs. the Southern Illinois Salukis was a buffalo and a dog. The guest artist: quarterback Cole Payton, who put tears coming out of a Salukis' eyes.

The artwork isn’t going to be displayed anywhere, anytime soon, but Payton sure is an artist on the football field. So is receiver Bryce Lance. They can make any team cry trying to match up.
