The twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad are set for a digital-era upgrade. Known for the old-world charm of Charminar, Chowmahalla Palace, and the Spanish Mosque, Hyderabad will soon get an “iconic” and modern structure to match its IT city image.
On Saturday, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy asked officials to begin designing ‘T-Square’. Planned at Raidurg — the heart of Hyderabad ’s IT hub — a structure is envisioned as “an intersection of entertainment, tourism, food and business,” featuring digital boards and advertisements. Work is expected to begin in November.
The government hopes the project will boost tourism.
