A hospital needs help identifying a patient who was found injured in downtown Los Angeles.

The male patient is around 50 years old, according to the Los Angeles General Medical Center. He was found injured near 5th and San Pedro and has been hospitalized since Oct. 3.

He stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 141 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair in braids.

He did not have any personal belongings to help staff identify him or contact loved ones. Workers did not disclose the nature of his injuries.
