MILWAUKEE -- It took 3 wins to clinch the NLDS, and it took 3 home runs for the Brewers to get that magic third win.

Three different Brewers went yard as Milwaukee took down the Chicago Cubs, 3-1, to advance to the NLCS. The Crew will host the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday for Game 1.

Saturday's win sent the Brewers to their fourth LCS in franchise history and third since making the switch to the National League. The Brewers' last NLCS trip came in 2018 against the Dodgers.

The fireworks started early, when William Contreras hit a solo home run in the bottom of the first inning. Seiya Suzuki answered for the Cubs with his own solo shot in the top of the second, but that was the only scoring the Cubs could manage on the day.
