The Dodgers will face Milwaukee in the National League Championship Series beginning Monday in Milwaukee, thanks to the Brewers’ 3-1 victory over the Chicago Cubs in Game 5 of their National League Division Series in Milwaukee Saturday evening.

Milwaukee had the best record in Major League Baseball, 97-65, one game better than the Philadelphia Phillies, 96-66, who the Dodgers defeated three games to one in their NLDS.

The Dodgers were 0-6 against the Brewers, losing all three games at both Dodger Stadium and American Family Field.

Milwaukee will be making its third NLCS appearance and first since 2018 when it lost to the Dodgers, four games to three. The Brewers lost the 2011 NLCS to the St. Louis Cardinals, four games to two.
