OMAHA, Neb. —
Showing off his skills, a local ice sculptor traded blocks of ice for pumpkins.
Matt Seeley is an Omaha native and longtime sculptor.
On Saturday, onlookers at the inaugural Heartwood Fall Fest got the chance to watch as he carved pumpkins into pieces of art.
Each pumpkin took him an average of two and a half hours to bring to life.
"I'm out here in the public. So anybody comes up to me, they want to look at my tools or I can give you advice on how to carve. So it's a lot more interactive and personal," he said.
Seeley will be carving again on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. in Heartwood Park.
