The Chicago Cubs have been eliminated from the 2025 MLB postseason after failing to defeat the Milwaukee Brewers. Despite their hard-fought battle and forcing Game 5, the Brew Crew proved to be a better team.

The Cubs’ loss was disappointing, just like the Philadelphia Phillies’ exit from the playoffs. Chicago scored one run, but the Brewers scored three, securing a neat victory to punch their ticket to the NLCS. Milwaukee will open a seven-game series against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Chicago Cubs fans are unhappy with how the season has gone. After bringing in Kyle Tucker and making notable changes to their roster, it was not enough for the Cubs to defeat the team that held the best record in the league.
