Bhubaneswar A 19-year-old migrant worker from Odisha was fatally stabbed following a dispute with a co-worker Kunnamkulam in Thrissur district of Kerala.

The deceased was identified as Ghanshyam Naik, a native of Brajrajnagar in Jharsuguda district of Odisha. The suspect, Dharambir Singh, also from Jharsuguda, was also arrested. Both worked at a tiles and sanitaryware shop. ADVERTISEMENT

According to reports, the incident occurred around 10.30 pm on Saturday during a card game in a room behind the shop, where a heated argument led Singh to allegedly stab Naik in the chest and abdomen, the PTI reported, quoting the FIR.

Though Naik was rushed to a nearby hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.

Kunnamkulam police registered a murder case and nabbed Singh following an investigation. Naik
