As President Donald Trump’s campaign of vengeance accelerates against those who bravely expose his malfeasance, I am thankful for the extraordinary courage of journalists such as those at the Las Vegas Sun, New York Times and MSNBC, as they continue to report on Trump’s endless criminality and cruelty.

Too many powerful people and organizations have cowered.They choose to ignore or even whitewash Trump’s relentless destruction of laws and decency. These cowards are allowing our democracy to weaken and even disappear under his tyranny.

At least principled journalists are fighting to save our constitutional freedoms when too many people just don’t care. These wonderful journalists deserve our gratitude and admiration for the enormous risks they endure as Trump continues to target them.
