49ers RB Christian McCaffrey OVER 76.5 rushing and receiving yards (-115)

Ayrton Ostly, NFL writer: McCaffrey had to step up with all of the injuries to the 49ers' skill positions on offense this season. His 639 scrimmage yards through five weeks lead the NFL, and he's on pace for a career-high in receiving yards this season.

That's the key for this line. Tampa Bay's defense is stout against the run; they're eighth-best by yards allowed and ninth by expected points added (EPA) per rush, per SumerSports. McCaffrey gets to the over by way of the receiving game.

Running backs have performed well in the receiving game against Tampa Bay this season. The Buccaneers are allowing opposing running back groups to get four catches for 51 yards on average. With wide receiver Ricky Pearsall out for this game, the offense will lean on McCaffrey in the passing game.

Chargers RB Hassan Haskins Anytime TD (+145)

Jacob Camenker, NFL writer: Jordan Mason nearly made our under yardage best last week a loser, but thankfully, the Browns held him in check enough to get us a win.

This week, we'll be backing another former backup running back who is thrust into a larger role. That would be Haskins, who figures to be one of the Chargers' backfield leaders after injuries to Omarion Hampton (ankle) and Najee Harris (Achilles).

Will Haskins or Kimani Vidal get more work? It's anyone's guess. That said, Haskins stands at 6-2, 227 pounds, so he figures to get most of the team's goal-line and short-yardage work. That could position him to hammer home a touchdown against a Dolphins defense that just let Rico Dowdle shred it for 206 yards and a score.

Seahawks QB Sam Darnold OVER 0.5 interceptions (+100)

Jack McKessy, NFL writer: We haven't had a bet hit yet this year, but there's still plenty of season left to right the ship. My pick of Jahmyr Gibbs' rushing yards over is on me for failing to consider the importance of David Montgomery's sister being in the building in Cincinnati last week.

Nevertheless, we roll into Week 6 with a spicy prediction for Sunday. The Jaguars' defense, led by new defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile, has been a wagon this season. The unit has picked off every quarterback it's faced, not named Patrick Mahomes, at least twice. And they still got an interception off of Mahomes by disguising linebacker Devin Lloyd's coverage look near the end zone.

Darnold has generally done a better job protecting the football in recent seasons compared to his early years with the New York Jets. This Jaguars defense is legit though. The unit ranks better in overall and dropback EPA than every other team the Seahawks have played so far this season and leads the league with 10 interceptions – three more than the next-closest team – through five weeks.

Panthers RB Rico Dowdle OVER 13.5 receiving yards vs. Cowboys (-118)

Nick Brinkerhoff, NFL writer: We’re on a heater after cashing our prop two weeks in a row, bringing the record to 3-2 on the season. Our circle of trust is expanding, but the party is only getting started. Luckily for us, Dowdle is the next guest set to arrive after he cashes our tickets in Week 6.

Revenge is on the mind for the former Cowboys’ running back, who gets to shine in the RB1 role again without Chuba Hubbard. Dowdle finished with 28 receiving yards last week against the Dolphins and now has the chance for an encore.

The Cowboys, and their awfully generous defense, are allowing 59.8 receiving yards to opposing running backs this season – the most in the league. Matt Eberflus’ defense plays zone coverage at the highest rate this season and Dowdle has done all of his damage against it with seven catches for 45 yards. Dowdle should remain busy in Week 6 and have plenty of opportunity to find at least 14 yards through the air.

Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. Anytime TD (+160)

Tom Viera, NFL writer/editor: We've been on the right track with our picks, but our guys just haven't been the ones finding the end zone despite the high target rates. We're going to stay in Jacksonville with Jack this Sunday and back a Jaguars star who has yet to breakout in 2025. After reeling in 10 receiving touchdowns in 2024, Brian Thomas Jr. has just one touchdown to this point in 2025 and it was of a rushing variety.

Trevor Lawrence led an incredible comeback over the Chiefs last week and a big part of it was a pearl of a throw to Thomas Jr. late in the fourth quarter. He and T-Law likely continue that momentum against Seattle, which is missing three starters in the secondary, safety Julian Love (hamstring), cornerback Devon Witherspoon (knee) and cornerback Riq Woolen (concussion). The Seahawks just conceded 163 yards and a touchdown to Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka. Bank on BTJ finally having his breakout showing in Week 6 aboard the touchdown train.
