Bengaluru: A rowdysheeter was arrested by the Hebbagodi police for allegedly attacking a milk shop owner over a trivial parking row, officials said on Sunday.

The arrested is Tarun Chaudhury, 36, a Bihar native involved in real-estate dealings in Bengaluru, the police said.

On October 9, at around 10 pm, Chaudhury forcibly entered the shop owned by Gopal HV, 42, at Electronics City (Phase II). He arrived in a black Range Rover along with two of his bodyguards.

Before entering, he demanded who the shopkeeper was and when he saw Gopal, he asked his bodyguards for a stick. He then went inside and assaulted Gopal. When the victim’s wife tried to intervene, he attacked her, too.
