Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, who faced backlash for excluding women journalists from his initial press conference in New Delhi, has scheduled another media interaction on Sunday, October 12, this time inviting female reporters, sources told news agencies.

Muttaqi arrived in India on Thursday for a week-long visit. His earlier press meet on Friday, held at the Afghanistan Embassy in Delhi, sparked widespread criticism after women journalists claimed they were barred from attending. The incident drew condemnation from media and rights groups, including the Editors Guild of India and the Indian Women Press Corps (IWPC).
