EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Clucktoberfest brought together wing and beer enthusiasts in Evans for a night of brews and good food Saturday.

There was also live music for people to enjoy.

The Oktoberfest-style event took on an American twist.

3 hurt after gunfire erupts at Waynesboro block party

Three people were injured, including a Burke County Sheriff’s deputy, after being struck by gunfire following a block party in Waynesboro, officials said.

People were able to get tickets that would let them taste beer from different vendors.

“What’s better on a fall afternoon than craft beer tasting, good food, wings, live music. We got football on, so we just thought, ‘Why not?’ Sounds like a good time on a fall day,” said Katie Cason, assistant general manager of the Columbia County Performing
