GRAND COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) -- Two people were rescued from their vehicle while trapped in rising floodwaters on Friday, according to the Grand County Sheriff's Office.

On Oct. 10, Grand County authorities received a call from two people saying they were caught in a creek with rising waters. Multiple agencies, including Grand County Sheriff's deputies, Grand County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue personnel, State Rangers, and Grand County EMS, responded to assist.

"After some great teamwork, the two subjects were successfully rescued from their vehicle," the sheriff's office said in a press release. "We would like to thank all of those who responded and the collaboration that led to a positive outcome."
