Daniel Casey, renowned for portraying DS Gavin Troy during the first six series of Midsomer Murders, has revealed how his colleague John Nettles provided crucial support throughout a difficult family period.
The performer, who appeared alongside John's DCI Tom Barnaby, is currently headlining a stage version of Caroline Graham's The Killings at Badger's Drift, the novel that inspired the beloved ITV programme.
