Alabama football moved up in the rankings after its latest win.
The Crimson Tide is now ranked No. 6 in the coaches poll and the AP top 25 , behind only No. 1 Ohio State, No. 2 Miami, No .3 Indiana, No. 4 Texas A&M and No. 5 Ole Miss. That’s the case in both major polls. All of those teams in front of the Crimson Tide remain undefeated.
The Crimson Tide had been ranked No. 8 in both the AP top 25 and the coaches poll prior to this weekend.
Then, Alabama secured a 27-24 victory over Missouri on Saturday at Faurot Field in Columbia, Missouri. That marked the third consecutive ranked win for the Crimson Tide.
Alabama (5-1, 3-0 SEC) will look to extend the streak to four with its game against No. 11 Tennessee on Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
