STILLWATER — A fifth straight loss for the Oklahoma State football team was a mixed bag of mostly bad-to-worse in a 39-17 defeat to Houston on Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium.

But the Cowboys — and their less-dressed supporters — earned at least a couple respectable grades on a day when receiver Sam Jackson V started at quarterback and trick plays and miscues each seemed to come in bunches.
