Three youths accused in the recent gang-rape case in Durgapur, West Bengal, were remanded to 10 days of police custody by a local court on Sunday. The accused were presented before the Durgapur Sub-Divisional Court, where the judge ordered that they be held in police custody for 10 days for further investigation.

As per police reports, the three allegedly assaulted a medical student, stole her mobile phone, and took Rs 5,000 from her bag during the attack.

Police sources confirmed that the victim’s mobile phone has been recovered from the possession of the accused.
