The Chargers trailed 13-9 at the break after a frustrating first half.

But the Bolts came out on fire to open the second half by dominating the third quarter in Miami.

The Chargers received the second-half kickoff and marched 72 yards for a touchdown after the Bolts converted three times on third downs on the drive.

Justin Herbert capped off the sequence with a 5-yard touchdown pass to Ladd McConkey on third down, which marked the wide receiver's second straight game with a score.

The Chargers defense then wasted little time getting off the field as cornerback Benjamin St-Juste picked off Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa on third down.
