Onondaga Nation- Held the third annual Indigenous Peoples’ Day Festival on unceded Onondaga land Sunday.
Indigenous Peoples’ Day Festival was held on unceded Onondaga land at Tsha’ Thon’nhes. The festival featured the Haudenosaunee Singers and Dancers – participatory social dancing, artist, crafts people and food.
Just some of the other featured artist were Peter Jones Pottery, Barry Powless painter, and the Onondaga Women Singers. 16

Joe Biden in 2021 formally commemorated the holiday with a presidential proclamation, it has been issued in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
