Police are tonight at the scene of a crash on one of Stoke-on-Trent's busiest roads. Pictures from the scene show a police car postioned in front of a crashed car on High Lane, in Burslem .

A bumper is lying on the pavement and police officers were speaking to members of the public on the opposite side of the road. The collision has happened near the Haywood Hospital junction.

StokeonTrentLive was alerted to the incident at around 7.20pm tonight.

StokeonTrentLive has approached Staffordshire Police for a statement following tonight's incident. Any witnesses can call the police on 101.
