Gloversville football’s Braydon Deere reached the 2,000-yard career rushing milestone Friday night, but it was just a part of a complete-team victory by the Huskies in their 47-7 Class B victory over Scotia-Glenville at Robert E. Gould Stadium at Husky Field.

The senior, a three-year varsity running back, surpassed the 2,000-yard mark with a 4-yard rush midway through the second quarter to join Mike Degnan in the 2,000-yard career rushing club on the Huskies’ record board. Deere already has his name on the board for single-game rushing yards with 287 in 2024 against Scotia-Glenville.
