X-Men stars from the movie franchise have given their honest opinion on the MCU potentially recasting their characters in future projects .

At the X-Men panel at NYCC, stars Elliot Page and James McAvoy spoke about their past roles in X-Men movies and how they would feel if they were replaced . Moderator Josh Horowitz listed some potential names that could replace Page and McAvoy, including Colman Domingo and Bella Ramsey.

Page was happy about the potential prospects: “They sound fantastic, so exciting to see, you know, people to take on a new iteration.” McAvoy was also optimistic about the future of X-Men and stated, “I'm excited to see what happens next. I was a fan before I was an employee, and then, no, you know, and I'll be a fan again.”
