DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) - Police are on the scene of a shooting outside of the Wiregrass Commons Mall.

Dothan Police Lt. Scott Owens confirmed that more than one person was shot outside of the Dillard's department store.

The exact number of people injured and the extent of the injuries is currently unknown.

The shooting occurred around 4:00 p.m.
